"Luke" is a gorgeous, big boned, solid footed appaloosa gelding. He is 10 years old, 15h, and is unregistered. Has been used on the trail, to move cattle, and in drill. He really drives from his hind end, and is very soft and supple in his face. Gives 100% every ride. Moves off leg nicely and is a comfortable ride at the walk, trot, and lope. She was started late due to no fault of her own. Montana has had the basic ground work done, has been saddled, and ridden a few times. Layla rides like a dream. She is great with youth and beginner riders, and is the type of horse you can hop on bareback right out of the pasture. Layla loves the trails, and cruises through water and other obstacles.. including busy traffic! Nothing really bothers this girl! She has a smooth and slow walk, trot, canter, and has the potential to make a nice HUS, Hunter Jumper, or Western Pleasure mount with some polishing. Hamilton is an adorable 17+ hand, 7 year old Percheron cross gelding. Hammy, as I like to call him, was started by the Amish. He knows how to drive, and rides english, western, and has been ridden bareback as well. Hamilton shows great potential in the english industry, and would thrive in the show ring with further polishing. He has been hunted off of, and is started over fences. He loves the trails, and cruises over obstacles, including bridges and water. He stands for mounting- so whether you are short like me and have to climb all the way up, or using a mounting block, Hammy can accommodate. He knows both leads. He has a beautiful, big, walk, trot and canter. Hamilton is very soft in the mouth and rides in a simple snaffle. This horse also has amazing brakes! He stops off your seat. He loves being groomed and he conveniently picks up all four giant feet. He doesn't even blink with a tight back cinch on a western saddle. He does not neck rein, but could be taught pretty easily. Hamilton is a fun, versatile horse that would be best suited with an intermediate to advanced rider.
